Concerns Remain as TxDOT SH16 Construction Project Continues
Last month the Diamond K crossover intersection by the Helotes Dairy Queen permanently closed. As a result of the recent closure, motorists can no longer make a left-hand turn from Diamond K to go southbound onto Bandera.
The closure is part of the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) construction of a “superstreet” on State Highway (SH) 16. The entire project which spans from Legend Trail to Diamond K Trail is slated for completion later this year.
