According to Helotes Police Department Chief Hunley, a call was received by Helotes Dispatch earlier today placing Kuentz Elementary and O’Connor High School into lockdown.
The caller claimed to have kidnapped a teacher, pistol whipped the hostage, is wearing body armor and waiting in the Bill Miller BBQ parking lot.
HPD and NISD police responded by clearing the area and schools with no evidence of any hostage or the caller. The call appears to have originated out-of-state and is under investigation.
