Last night the Helotes Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) made a dramatic change to the Small Business Loan Assistance Program by converting it into a grant program.
If passed by Helotes City Council, the grant program would make available the remainder of funds allocated towards loans to micro-small businesses in Helotes who meet the program criteria. This initiative also converts the three existing loan program borrowers’ loans into grants.
The earliest Helotes City Council is able to take this item up for consideration is August 27th, 2020.
