The Helotes General Election is held on Saturday, May 2, 2020. The following council positions will be open for election: Council Member Place 1, Place 2, and Place 4.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS (TYPE A CITY – LOCAL GOVT CODE § 22.032):
Council Member: 1 year in state prior to filing deadline; 6 months in the city prior to filing deadline; age requirement of 18; Must be a registered voter in territory elected from by the filing deadline; Must meet eligibility requirements as prescribed by Election Code § 141.001 (a).
