Mesquite charcoal on a “gira grill,” a patented spinning grill, gives each ½-pound burger unrivaled flavor. Garnished with fresh ingredients and made to order, don’t mistake this place for a fast-serve restaurant. When devouring our burgers, we could taste the difference. Although it took a little more time after ordering, it was worth the short wait. If you’re going on a Saturday when it’s busier, you may want to order online for a quicker pick-up or delivery.
The simple menu features four varieties of burgers with toppings–classic, cheese, bacon, and guacamole. Sides are available a la carte. Chile güero, a banana pepper stuffed with melted mozzarella, spins on the grill with the burgers and was our favorite side. Well-seasoned fries and onion rings may be the best choice for those seeking a more traditional side. Diners may customize their meal with made-from-scratch dipping sauces–bold bestia, spicy jalapeño, and smokey chipotle.
Do you have food allergies? Cuarto De Kilo has you covered with a list of ingredients prominently posted. Tailored to the specific dietary needs of each customer, diners can notify the cashier of any special restrictions.
Cuarto De Kilo is open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. and closed on Sundays.
