City of Helotes and Helotes Economic Development Corporation Launch Helotes Small Business Grant Program

Eligible businesses may qualify for grants of up to $10,000

HELOTES, TX— The Helotes Small Business Grant Program will bring relief to small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with funding of $390,000 to establish grants of up to $10,000 for eligible businesses.

To meet eligibility guidelines, businesses must meet the following qualifications:

  • Business is located within the City of Helotes’ full purpose jurisdictional boundaries
  • Have not received grants or loans from Bexar County LiftFund Small Business Relief Program
  • Small businesses with 10 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE) employees and less than $1 million net revenue
  • In operation since May 2019
  • Other eligibility requirements as listed on the program website

To determine eligibility, businesses should review program details at helotesedc.com/HelotesGrant. Applications are being accepted now. The deadline to apply is September 18, 2020 by 8:00 p.m.

The nonprofit economic development organization BCL of Texas will administer this program. Businesses who participate in the Helotes Small Business Grant Program will work with BCL’s small business coaches to process the grant applications and coordinate funding.
